Hi there! I’m Maylen.

I’m a workflow and process design consultant and the founder of ThoughtfulOps. We help busy business leaders who have no idea where to start when it comes to getting their operations in order.

I’ve always worked with startups and entrepreneurs, and as an entrepreneur myself, I understand your journey and what it takes to run a business. There's nothing more rewarding than helping you grow your startup to the next stages.

Before founding ThoughtfulOps, I was an operations manager and senior experience producer, managing projects from start-up to delivery and building trusting relationships with my clients. My focus on operations goes back to my university days when I studied management at John Molson School of Business and won awards for case competitions in change management and business strategy.

I started ThoughtfulOps to help people enjoy their lives and not be overwhelmed at work. Having experienced two burnouts, I now avoid overworking by establishing clear processes for myself and helping business leaders and their people do the same.

Why ‘ThoughtfulOps’?

I tend to think things through a lot, and I apply this thoughtfulness to every business I work with. I previously founded a coaching business, and I bring that approach to my work today by going beyond just processes and tools to help you take control of your work life, focus on what matters, and prioritize your wellbeing.
